Who these terms apply to
These terms cover anyone using InternetTimes.com — whether you are running a one-off lookup, hitting the REST API, or have a registered account. By accessing the site you confirm you are at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) and have the legal capacity to enter this agreement.
The free tools
The free web tools at InternetTimes.com are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We make a best effort at correctness, but real-world DNS, BGP, and TLS state changes faster than any cache can keep up. Do not rely on a single tool result for irreversible decisions — verify with a second source for anything important.
We may rate-limit, throttle, or temporarily disable any free tool to protect site stability. No advance notice required.
Acceptable use
You agree NOT to:
- Scan, attack, or interfere with networks you do not own. The HTTP-headers and SSL-checker tools deliberately refuse private/internal IP ranges for this reason.
- Use the tools to enumerate vulnerable systems for malicious purposes.
- Scrape the public web tools at scale. If you need programmatic access, use the REST API.
- Bypass rate limits by rotating IPs, user agents, or API keys.
- Mirror, white-label, or rebrand Internet Times without written permission.
- Use the tools to violate any applicable law in your jurisdiction.
We may suspend or ban accounts that violate this section without refund.
REST API and paid plans
The REST API at /api/v1/* requires an API key and is subject to per-plan rate limits (see /api). Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time — access continues until the end of the paid period.
We may change pricing with 30 days notice to existing paid subscribers. If you do not agree to a new price, cancel before the renewal date.
Accounts
You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your password and API keys safe. Notify us at [email protected] immediately if you suspect a compromise.
One account per person. You may not share credentials with anyone else.
Intellectual property
The Internet Times name, logo, and design are our property. The code and content on InternetTimes.com are © 2026 Internet Times, except where otherwise noted. You may share links freely. Do not copy the design, code, or content for a competing product without permission.
Warranty disclaimer
The service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any data returned will be accurate or complete.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Internet Times and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months (or USD 100 if you have not paid us anything).
Termination
You may stop using Internet Times at any time. You may delete your account from your account page at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for material violation of these terms, with reasonable notice except where immediate suspension is required to protect the service or other users.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Internet Times operator is established. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where local consumer-protection laws require otherwise.
Changes to these terms
If we materially change these terms we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and post a notice on the homepage for 30 days. Continuing to use the service after the change means you accept the new terms.
