Results are observations, not guarantees
Every tool here reports what a specific lookup returned at a specific moment. DNS records propagate unevenly, TLS certificates are reissued, BGP routes move, and registries update their own data on their own schedule. A result can be accurate when we fetched it and out of date by the time you read it.
Where a check could not reach its subject, we say so rather than reporting a negative. “We could not check this” and “this is missing” are different statements, and we do not score a domain on a lookup that never completed.
Third-party data
Several checks report data we did not produce: WHOIS and RDAP come from registries and registrars, blacklist status from the operators of each RBL, IP geolocation and ASN data from public datasets, and certificate transparency results from CT logs. We pass that through with minimal interpretation. We do not control it, cannot correct it, and are not responsible for its accuracy.
If a blacklist lists your address in error, or WHOIS shows the wrong registrant, the correction has to come from that provider — removing the entry from our cache would not change the underlying source.
Not professional advice
An audit score is a heuristic summary, not a security assessment, a legal opinion, or a compliance certification. A perfect score does not mean a domain is secure, and a poor one does not mean it is compromised. Use these results to find things worth investigating — not as the investigation itself.
Scan only what you are entitled to scan
Every check we run uses ordinary, publicly available protocols: DNS queries, HTTP requests to published endpoints, and public registry lookups. Nothing here is intrusive and nothing attempts to bypass access controls. Even so, you are responsible for having a legitimate reason to look up any domain or address you submit, and for complying with the law where you are.
Availability
The site is provided as-is. Checks may be rate-limited, queued, or temporarily unavailable, and monitoring runs on the cadence attached to your plan rather than continuously. Monitoring is a diagnostic aid, not an uptime guarantee, and should not be the only thing standing between you and an outage.
